Who we serve : We serve all Burundians and African Immigrants living legally in US, who are BCUSA members.
Our Values : EMPOWERMENT: We envision gathering Burundian immigrants living legally in the United States of America ( USA) to collaborate with and humanely support them in their daily life. We desire to create an environment where all individuals, families, and communities have the potential to be the best selves.
RESPECT: We treat all people as human beings, and do not discriminate anyone for any reason including but not limited to politics, religion, gender, sexual orientation etc.
UNITY: Empowerment comes through Unity. Differing opinions, traditions and beliefs can be woven together to exist in beautiful harmony. It is through unity that we are strong and able to reach our vision.
SUSTAINABILITY: We understand that lasting change requires more than quick fixes and band-aid solutions. We rely on every member of the community and local leaders, as well as your continued support in order to meet the needs of our members.

INDEPENDENCE: BCUSA is an independent, Non-Profit Organization, with no religious or political affiliation. While BCUSA is subject to the regulations and laws in the States in which we operate, we will always maintain our autonomy and act in accordance with BCUSA principles
